RUSTIX GOURMET

I have never really been the first to jump for joy if one said lets go to East Ham to grab a bite, not that I hate the place or anything but it never was a place for much choice. Walking down East Ham is as equal as walking through the streets of South India. If you ever craved for flavours from back home (Kerala/ Tamil Nadu) this is the place to visit when you come to United Kingdom.

Keeping all this in mind Rustix may have converted me, located just outside the high street is the American inspired diner that transport you from the streets of South India to another part of the world.

The interior:

Being someone who loves all this rustic/ vintage, it was natural for me to fall in love with this place. Although it is a small place, it does not feel cramped or uncomfortable in any way. You feel welcomed from the moment you step in.

The Food:

Where do I start!!

Everything that came out of the kitchen, tasted freshly made with love.

Rustix Bandit Burger

Always been a huge fan of Gourmet Burger Kitchen but this burger has hit the ball out of the park.

Everything about this burger was just delicious. The other things is that I love spice, I had requested them to put some jalapenos and boy they were generous.

Loaded Nachos

The mexican's would be proud !! Tortilla chips topped with chilli con carne, jalapenos and cheese (I mean lots of cheese).  For a cheese lover like me this was heavenly. If you do not like something, you can always ask them to take it off.

BBQ Jerk Wings and Buffalo Wings.

If you are in the mood to try the different wings they do allow you to mix and match their dozen wings.

Absolute loved both the recipes but my personal favourite was the buffalo wings, having tried this once before in New York, Rustix has done justice for these wings. The perfect combination of spicy, sweet and tangy flavours it is a treat for your taste buds.

It will leave your mouth watering every time you think about it. I have also been advised that it is one of their best sellers and I now know why.

The Price

It will cost roughly £15 per person - a starter, burger and drink. They do have seafood, although personally I feel it is a bit over priced. They also offer steak and chops.

The Service:

Above everything the service is amazing, there was not a moment where I felt like I was not looked after. The waiters were both friendly and helpful.

Final Verdict: It is a perfect spot to hang out with both friends and family. If you are ever near East London and in need of food make sure to check them out you will not be disappointed.

**** To all my muslim brothers and sisters - The place is HALAL ****

Only advise - please remember the size of your stomach before ordering food cause the portions are quite big.
